Vaughn Property Services is a property maintenance business operated by Vaughn Capital, Inc. in Anderson, South Carolina. This Privacy Policy explains what information this website and related business systems collect, why we collect it, who receives it, and the choices you have.

This page is a disclosure of our practices. Reading it, browsing this website, or submitting a form is not, by itself, consent to text messages or to any optional tracking.

This public website does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar visitor-tracking scripts, and it does not display third-party ads.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide and limited information created when you use the client portal or staff tools.

Quote request form: Name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, service category, property location, desired timing, and project description. Submissions are stored as business records on our server and emailed to us so we can reply. If you include an email address, we may also email a secure client-portal link.
Ordinary page visits: Browsing public pages does not cause this application to store your IP address or browser details in our quote records. We have not independently verified whether hosting access logs retain IP addresses for ordinary visits.
Client portal: If we send you a portal link, opening it creates a session cookie so you can view quotes and invoices that belong to you. The link is tied to your email address. You can sign out, which clears that session.
Quotes, jobs, and invoices: If you hire us, we keep ordinary business records: contact details, property information, the work described, quotes, invoices, and related correspondence. Those records may be kept in our accounting system.
Phone and email: If you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to share and may keep that correspondence.
SMS opt-in: If you check the optional text-message box on the quote form, we store that you consented, the consent text, a version identifier, and the time of consent, along with the phone number on the form. That record is used to send transactional messages about your quote or job and to document the opt-in. Mobile opt-in data will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Staff accounts: Our staff sign in to an internal application. That area uses authentication and session cookies. It is not a public account.

How we use information

Respond and schedule: Answer quote requests, confirm scope and timing, and communicate about the work.
Deliver the work: Prepare quotes, perform the services you hire us for, and handle invoices.
Operate the business: Provide customer service and keep business, tax, insurance, and liability records.
Secure the site: Operate the website, prevent spam and abuse, and limit the client portal to the customer the link was sent to.
Send transactional SMS: If you opt in, we send text messages about your quote, scheduling, and job status. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. See SMS / Text Messaging below.

Cookies

This website uses cookies only for sign-in sessions:

Client portal: A session cookie keeps you signed in after you open a portal link. It is used to show your quotes and invoices, not for advertising.
Staff sign-in: The internal staff area uses session cookies so authorized users can stay signed in.
What we do not run: This public website does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, or a newsletter signup.
Browser controls: You can control or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies will prevent the client portal and staff sign-in from staying signed in.

Service providers

Depending on the feature, information may be processed by:

Email: Quote-request notices and client-portal links are sent through our mail provider.
Accounting system: Customers, quotes, and invoices for property-service jobs may be stored in our accounting system.
Twilio: If you opt in to text messages, they are delivered through Twilio, which receives your phone number and the message content needed to deliver them. Twilio's practices are described in Twilio's Privacy Notice. We do not share opt-in data with Twilio for their own marketing.
Hosting and database: The website, quote records, and client-portal accounts are hosted on our infrastructure.
Staff identity provider: Keycloak is used for staff sign-in to the internal application.

Information sharing

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade mailing lists.

We share information where needed to provide the service, operate our systems, comply with law, or protect rights and safety, including with the providers described above and with people you ask us to include.

Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS / Text Messaging

Vaughn Property Services offers an optional transactional text-messaging program. You may opt in by checking the consent box on the quote form at vaughnpropertyservices.com/contact. Opting in is not required to request a quote or to hire us.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Messages: Transactional messages about your quote, scheduling, and job status, including links to your client portal. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
Frequency: Message frequency varies. You will typically receive between 1 and 10 messages for a quote or job.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge for the texts.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a confirmation and no further texts from this program.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, accounting, security, tax, insurance, and liability purposes. Quote requests, portal records, quotes, and invoices are kept as business records. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

Security

We use HTTPS for this website and limit quotes, invoices, and internal tools to authorized access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Do not send full financial account numbers or a Social Security number through the public quote form.

Children's privacy

This website is for adults arranging property work. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it where we can.

Your choices

You can browse the site without submitting a form. You may call or email us instead of using the form. The text-message checkbox is optional.

To ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact us using the details below. If a privacy law that applies to you provides a specific right, we will address the request in light of that law.

Do Not Track

This website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. There are no advertising cookies on this site for those signals to control.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
